A Glimmer of Silence: A reflection of your True Self

With all the self-help messages that bombard us on social media, it’s easy to doubt whether we are enough. We forget that we’ve made it this far and we’re doing pretty good. We’ve learned from the school of hard-knocks, faced challenges, and we’re still here…actually stronger than we were before.
In all that noise, we forget the wisdom that already lives quietly inside us.”
I learned a new Japanese word today: Seijaku—deep stillness, tranquility, quiet. The kind of silence where self-discovery can begin.
So just for today, take a few minutes…no perfect posture/space…just you and a moment of quiet. Don’t try to force yourself into silence. Just sit in the solitude of non-movement.
Over time you’ll catch glimpses of pure silence. That pure, beautiful silence?...that’s you looking into the reflection of who you truly are. Not a bundle of nerves or desperation to be someone else. Just a solid “knowing” that who you are, deep inside, is pure, good, and wanting to get to know you over a morning tea. 😊
Take one minute of sitting in silence today. No big deal. Everyone can take a minute.
Do this every day, one minute, for one week. Then, over time, add another minute, and so on… eventually you may begin noticing parts of yourself that have been waiting quietly to be heard.
Feel free to share this with a friend! Our precious sanctuary will benefit with the addition of like-minded little sparks! From one courageous spark to another, with love, debi
