Co-create vs. Desire

I believe we are misaligning with our manifestation attempts. All the focus has been on the right way to manifest, and everyone has an opinion on this…including me. 😊

I don’t believe we are meant to “act” accordingly, or “assume” the desired end, or “fake it ‘til you make it”. As I’ve mentioned before, to me these appear to be external “acts” of desires. By following these recommendations we leave out the greatest power we have in ourselves…and that’s union with the divine...which is what the journey to our True Self is all about.

I was reading a book (of course😊) by Florence Scovil Shinn, called The Game of Life. This book was written in the early 1920s, (long before any great gurus came from the east to teach us). She mentions that there is a Divine Design in each of us. It is something that only we can do…maybe it’s our talent, or maybe it’s only through us that certain people will see/feel/read what is needed for them to do.

Her quote from the book: “There is a place that you are to fill and no one else can fill, something you are to do, which no one else can do.”

She says this is your “true destiny.” This is your true creation/calling in the world, straight from Source, or as she called it the “Infinite Intelligence.”

So, I guess my question or suggestion is, what if we were to first seek union with the Infinite Intelligence in each of us, instead of assuming our energies into manifesting desires first?

Once again, I’ll reiterate that I’m not saying manifesting doesn’t work. It has worked, spectacularly, for many people. But it has also not worked for a great many other people. Those who fail may see it as something that is lacking within them, which could not be further from the truth. We all have a Divine Design within each of us…there is no lack in this place.

What if our manifestations are not made real because we are not in alignment with our Divine Design? I believe that once we make the connection with our Infinite Intelligence…our true self…and “act” from the position of co-creation of our Divine Design, then greater dreams unimagined become manifested.

Just think how much more peaceful our lives would be? Even if it were to take time to reach whatever outcome there is to the plan, during that time we’d be acting from a place of utter love, creation, and a deeper intelligence of knowing it to be realized. We’d be working as one with ourself, who IS the Infinite Intelligence. There is no separation. That is what understanding our True Self is all about.

Florence mentions that you are made aware of your Divine Design through intuition. She suggests that it is through intuition that the Infinite Intelligence speaks to us.

There are many avenues you can take to strengthen this connection within you. One way is by working through Mikao Usui’s step-by-step plan to True Self, through the Reiki system. There he shows you not only hands-on healing for yourself/others, but also many different meditations, mantras, symbols, and chants that you can focus on to help you strengthen this relationship. Why did he create so many different practices? Usui Sensei knew we all learn differently, so he created various physical, visual, and breath/energy work to appeal to our way of learning. Personally, I believe the strongest of these is meditation.

 Whether you do it the different practices of Usui Sensei or find your own meditative path, I believe this is the best way to live in a state of co-creation with the infinite Intelligence. Once you’ve strengthened that connection, you are more readily prepared to KNOW what is true intuition or what is just your ego-mind messing with you. It's only then that you can move into any manifestation techniques you prefer. I think the importance above all is in the knowing and having the faith that it will come about...and that can only be gained through inner knowledge and acceptance.

I know my Divine Design involves writing & teaching. Whether this blog, my Instagram/YouTube account(s), or my Usui Sensei classes are all that I’m intended to do, I don’t know. What I do believe is that to understand the fullest expression of my Divine Design, my meditation practice must take priority. My ego-mind has been loudest for too long.  I want that connection with the Infinite Intelligence to be loud and clear.

By being in alignment with this intelligence, I believe that something from the soul emerges...far greater than your imagination could create. What path are you going to choose today to strengthen your connection with the Infinite Intelligence that knows your Divine Design?
