The Courageous Spark
Your spark of awakening to True Self

My journey so far
I thought I’d share a bit about me and how I ended up believing so deeply in metaphysical practices and the idea of going deep within ourselves to find the peace we are all seeking. Throughout my teen years I’d been looking for something “out there,” a something that was greater than me. I believed there was a power that would bring peace and love “to” me. Something that would explain why we are here and what we are meant to do. I can’t explain it. It was some deep urging tha

The Dimming of Our Light: Where our true self resides.
I'm going to begin this post with a quote: “Your identity is a mirror covered with dust. When you first look in the mirror, the truth of who you are and what you value is obscured. Clearing it may not be pleasant, but only when that dust is gone can you see your true reflection.” Attributed to Gauranga Das, in Jay Shetty’s book Think Like a Monk. Our journey then is to begin lifting those lampshades of

Daily Practice
When practiced daily, Reiki moves beyond a hands-on healing modality to a healing, spiritual journey. It’s this evolution that brings you closer to rediscovering the great bright light (Dai Komyo) that is your true self. As we practice our light moves beyond the shadows and into its greatest brilliance. To live the Reiki precept Be Humble we shine our light out to all around us, with love and acceptance. That light then moves beyond us, through energy and vibrations, and crea
