The Courageous Spark
Your spark of awakening to True Self
How it all began...
It's been years since I took my first Reiki class, with Frans Stiene & The International House of Reiki, and discovered that there is something called the True Self. It's the divine YOU. The pure soul. You, without the baggage of all you've learned.
Most people know Reiki as a hands-on healing modality, leaving few to really understand it's a step-by-step path to spiritual awakening. It's this path that I'd like to share with you on your journey to self-discovery.
Prior to making this decision to be of service, I wasn't sure if the world needed one more person offering help with personal and spiritual growth.

But then, within minutes of my mind debating this, I heard a Benny Rivers song*, and one lyric touched my heart:

I knew then the universe was saying "yes, we need your spark."
It's true, I am just one of many little sparks in this vast universe.​But sometimes, a little spark is all one person needs to help them understand their journey of discovering their best self.

And with that realization, The Courageous Spark was born. 🔥​​

Offerings
On the journey of rediscovering our True Self, I share different resources that have helped me along the way. I also humbly give my revelations, insights, and moments of awareness in Our Sanctuary, my blog.
On Instagram I share daily quotes of philosophers from various backgrounds. On my YouTube channel, I offer my reflections and spiritual epiphanies. My channel is not about teaching, I don't sell anything, I don't have all the answers, I'm simply sharing and creating a community for those who also have a deep "Knowing" that there is something greater within us that can be found in this lifetime.

Because I learned about the True Self in a Reiki class, I offer two Reiki classes. These classes are close to the original spiritual awareness teachings of Mikao Usui, the founder of Reiki. They highlight Usui's original intent, that "the purpose of life was to attain your maxium state of peace of mind,"* on your journey of self-discovery. I offer them as a way to deepen your studies and your awareness.

It is my hope that the insights and classes will help you create practices that will strengthen your path of self-discovery.
